Biography

Mike spent 14 years working as an academic in Higher Education where he published over 36 research papers, 9 book chapters and edited the leading textbook on geomorphological mapping. He also founded and is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Maps, a citation listed journal dedicated to publishing research maps. He is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and led the Masters programme in GIS at Kingston University. Mike currently manages a number of spatial and non-spatial databases at the Royal Geographical Society, coordinating the storage, retrieval and analysis of society data. He is also a Visiting Researcher at Ulster University. TEST
