Biography
Robert is a specialist in archaeo-environmental issues. He has an MSc in Wetland Archaeological Science and Management and a PhD in Geography, both from the University of Hull. Robert then became a Research Associate and then a Research Fellow, working within the Wetland Archaeology and Environments Research Centre (WAERC) at the University of Hull, managing a range of projects. He was appointed as its deputy director in 2007 and remained in this position until 2011. Robert was subsequently a director for CgMs Consulting in 2011, heading up their Manchester office, until 2015 whereupon he jointly set-up Orion Heritage with his co-founder Rob Bourn. The company has offices based in Brighton, Manchester and Worcester.
