Biography
I am a passionate Fluvial Geomorphologist, but I also have interests throughout the environmental and earth sciences. I am interested in restoring natural processes in rivers and particularly interested in restoring sediment transfer, river continuity within the fluvial environments. I completed my degree and post-graduation in Geography and then completed a PhD looking at how land use/land cover changes affect the biophysical environment in the Chalakudi River basin, India. The Geomorphology Technical Specialist Job at the Environment Agency has given the opportunity to apply the scientific reach knowledge I acquired over the years into practice. My interest in geography is rooted in my mind from childhood, hence it would always be there.
