Biography
Sue is currently employed as a Senior Environmental Analyst at JBA Consulting, an environmental, engineering and risk management company. Since joining the company in 2022, Sue has worked on a diverse range of projects for clients including the Environment Agency, and various local authorities. Prior to joining JBA, Sue was employed as a Lecturer in Higher Education at Edge Hill University specialising in GIS and Air Quality. In her PhD research ‘The characterisation of particulate pollution in an airport environment: Manchester international airport, UK, a case study’ Sue applied a multiple analytical approach incorporating magnetic measurements, geochemical analysis, SEM/EDX and ESR to determine characteristic ‘fingerprints’ of primary particulates from key aircraft sources to investigate PM pollution within the airport environment.
