Biography
Malgorzata Alicja Karpinska has 15 years of experience working internationally in variety of roles predominantly within Remote Sensing Services, Cartography, Data Quality Assurance and Management. She uses GIS applications to manage, manipulate and interpret geospatial data to produce maps, geospatial products, orthorectified Imagery and 3D Digital Terrain Models. She has keen eye for efficiency and improvements through automation. She shares GI knowledge by organising and running Masterclasses, GIS workshops and presenting at Geo-events. She writes papers and technical reports. She liaises with external companies, Universities, PhD students and is keen on supporting innovative research projects. She holds MSc in Cartography, BA in Geography and CGeog (GIS) status and she is an active member of RIN, RGS and Hants Digital Women.
