Biography

Achieved a 2(i) BA (Hons) degree in Geography and a Teaching qualification from OUDES. Exude 18 years teaching experience at a variety of State and Independent schools, including 5 years as a Head of Department at a British School in Grand Cayman. Partaken and led many Geography field trips abroad and, in the UK, including running 2 World Challenge programmes to India, Mozambique and Eswatini. Outside of teaching, volunteering has been a passion, active research carried out at three marine programmes globally: Cayman Islands, Mozambique and Mauritius. Work has been published in Journals such as Teaching Geography and WideWorld. A passion for travel and adventure has included climbing Kilimanjaro (2019), running a Cayman half marathon (2012) and diving all around the world. Currently training for a cycle competition London – Brighton.
