Biography

Jennifer is a Principal GIS Analyst at Jacobs UK Ltd with 14 years’ experience working in GIS. She has expertise in spatial data management, spatial analysis, mapping, and geospatial consultancy. Jennifer has worked in both the public and private sectors, across a wide range of industry sectors including local and national government, roads, environment, utilities and energy. She has a wealth of experience applying geospatial solutions for successful delivery on a number of large multi-disciplinary projects, such as Transport Scotland Forth Replacement Crossing (Queensferry Crossing), A96 and A9 Dualling schemes, as well as a range of smaller Environmental Impact Assessments. Jennifer is on the Jacobs Geospatial and Visualisation Leadership Team and is Operational Lead for the Scotland Geospatial team. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for developing and leading the Geospatial Strategy across Scotland in-line with the UK Strategy; taking strategic control of operational delivery, and progress deadlines; effective communication of key messages between the Geospatial Leadership and the Scotland team; and promoting the develop of technical capabilities and continued professional development within the team. She holds a M.Sc. in Geographical Information Management from Cranfield University and is a member of the Association for Geographic Information (AGI).
