Biography

Laura Thompson is an experienced environmental consultant within a flood risk and engineering consultancy, JBA Consulting. She has extensive experience in the use of GIS software to undertake spatial analyses and develop innovative model builder tools to streamline complex project tasks. She is skilled in broadscale flood risk modelling, using both TUFLOW and JBA Consulting’s in-house modelling software JFlow. Laura also has experience in both project managing and delivering Level 1 and Level 2 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment projects for local authorities.
