Biography
Adil Toorawa is a Chartered Geographer and experienced GIS professional with around 10 years’ experience across infrastructure, utilities, government, humanitarian, and voluntary sectors. He has worked on major programmes including HS2 in the UK and voluntary charity work partnering with an energy company, supporting GIS database design, spatial data migration, quality assurance, workflow development, and geodatabase management. Adil has strong technical expertise in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, SDE, geodatabase schema design, Python automation, CAD-to-GIS conversion, spatial data governance, and utility asset management. He is experienced in coordinating GIS technicians, supporting stakeholders, improving data standards, and delivering practical tools that make complex GIS processes more efficient and reliable. He holds a First Class BSc in Physical Geography from Manchester Metropolitan University and is certified as an ISO 19650 Information Management Practitioner.
