Alastair Reid is a Senior Product Manager at Registers of Scotland, based in Edinburgh, with over 20 years’ experience in spatial data and product delivery. He leads the development and continuous improvement of geospatial products at Registers of Scotland, setting vision and strategy while guiding teams to deliver high-value outcomes. In 2022, Alastair received a Geography in Government (GiG) Award for Operational Delivery, recognising his contribution to advancing geographic practice across the UK public sector. He began his career at RoS in 1999, gaining experience in Registration, GIS, and data roles before moving into product leadership. He is particularly passionate about mentoring colleagues and fostering collaboration.
