Mr Andrew Murphy CGeog (GI)

Biography

Andrew Murphy is a Principal GIS Analyst at Northern Ireland Water with over 16 years of experience in geospatial data management, systems administration and spatial analytics. A graduate of the University of Glasgow in Geographic Information and Mapping Science, he holds an MSc in Web Information Systems from the University of Ulster. Andrew leads a team of analysts responsible for ESRI Enterprise, Oracle Spatial and FME software stacks used daily by 1,300 internal and external users. He is recognised for innovative solutions in digital twin development, sustainability and data management. His professional interests include Utility Network migration, IoT sensor integration, geospatial automation and inspiring the next generation of geography professionals.
