Biography
Andy Rumfitt CGeog MRTPI FRGS is a planning and economic development consultant with over 30 years of senior professional experience. He is the founder of Rumfitt Associates, an independent consultancy specialising in Green Book-compliant business cases, economic appraisal and regeneration funding, established following senior roles at Arup, AECOM and Turley. His project experience spans major transport infrastructure, place-based regeneration and planning policy including business cases for Crossrail, the Bakerloo Line Extension, DLR extensions and Stratford Station, alongside regeneration programmes in the Liverpool City Region, Hampshire and the Solent and across London. He studied at the universities of Cambridge, Reading and London, is a Chartered Member of the RTPI and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He was awarded Chartered Geographer status in 2019. Andy is based in south-west London.
