Biography
Anthony is a flood hydrologist with an MSc in flood risk management from Newcastle University. He worked for the Environment Agency at the Thames Barrier in the flood mapping and modelling team from 2006 until 2012. He then worked in a national role providing flood modelling technical advice and guidance. He contributed to and managed national scale projects and developed guidance documents, training programmes, and work methods for both hydrodynamic and hydrological (FEH) modelling. Anthony joined JBA Risk Management in July 2019 as Senior Hydrologist and is hydrology technical lead. In this role, as well as design flow hydrology, he models stochastic flood event sets and climate change impacts on flood extremes. He also provides flood hydrology training to other staff members.
