Biography
Ben Hardy is a Principal Project Manager for South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). SYMCA is the driving force behind the development of Public Transport in South Yorkshire. Ben is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of specific and sizable elements of SYMCA’s capital delivery programme. The nature of Ben’s role means that Geography is at the heart of all the key decisions, including the prioritisation of Public Transport investment throughout the region, improving access to jobs, education and healthcare, as well as improving local air quality within Air Quality Management Areas and Clean Air Zones. Outside work, Ben is a keen rock climber who loves to climb both in the UK and abroad.
