Biography
Benjamin Fisher is a Lecturer in Environment and GIS in the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU). Ben is the Vice Chair of the Association for Geographic Information (AGI) Scotland Committee. Ben has 15 years in-industry experience working for Environmental and Engineering consultancies on both UK and International projects. Ben has provided GIS input into major engineering and environmental projects in sectors including Renewables, Transport, Highways, Coastal Management and Utilities working in multi-disciplinary project teams. Ben has worked on projects including Norfolk Vanguard Offshore Wind Farm, Crossrail, Nottingham Express Transit and the Duelling of the A9.
