Biography
Graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2007 with a Degree in Geographic Information and Mapping Science, he commenced work at the MoD's Defence Science Technology Laboratory (Dstl). There he has worked in training, geospatial standards, simulation and 3D mapping. He has an interest in analysing the issues that exist between the simulation and geospatial communities and creating links and understanding between the two communities. He is active in working to develop this field and carrying out studies as well as presenting these issues to the widest audience. Christopher is a Fellow of the British Cartographic Society, member of the Society's Council, editor of the UK National Report on the UK mapping industry and hosts the BCS Teatime Talks series.
