Biography

With a degree in Geography from the University of Oxford, David is Headmaster of Dr Challoner’s Grammar School in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, having previously been Deputy Head, Director of Sixth Form and Head of Geography at the same school. He has developed learning and teaching in Geography, with a particular interest in the use of IT in the subject. He is also involved in developing an innovative school based initial teacher training programme, which includes a strong Geography component. Interested in leadership development, his work is increasingly involved in influencing and working with others, with a focus on education and Geography. He is serving the Royal Geographical Society as Vice President (Education) from 2018-2021.
