Biography
David currently works within the Wildlife team at the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) (an executive agency of Defra). He is the discipline lead for wildlife epidemiology and modelling, a role which is very much focussed on using and analysing geospatial data to support our understanding of wildlife disease transmission, and help deliver disease response. David is a GIS analyst by trade, having previously worked as GI services manager at the RSPB prior to moving to APHA as a GI specialist in 2015. He holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Leeds, and an MSc in Geographical Information Science from the University of Nottingham.
