Biography
David is a co-founder and BIM Director of Pentagon Solutions NI leading a team of experienced engineers and consultants to deliver global digital construction and asset handover projects. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, MSc (Distinction) in GIS and over 25 years of experience using specialised construction and geospatial software. For the past ten years, David has implemented BIM consultancy focusing on GIS integration with building and infrastructure assets, including ground-breaking digital twin projects. He advocates open data, regularly sharing workflows on how to create and visualise complex 3D models. David is a multi-disciplined professional as an Engineer (IEng MIED), Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE).
