Biography
Gareth graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Queen’s University Belfast in 2001, followed by an MSc (Distinction) in Geographical Information Systems from Ulster University in 2002. After a period of voluntary work in East Africa, he joined the Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland (OSNI) in 2009. Since then, he has held a range of roles including Geospatial Specialist advising on major public sector infrastructure projects, Spatial NI and Web Services Manager, and Geospatial Innovation and Integration Manager. He is currently Head of Geospatial Service Architecture, Data Integration and Address Management. Gareth is a Chartered Geographer, a PRINCE2 Practitioner, and a member of the AGI Northern Ireland Board.
