Biography

George is Head of Business Development for Africa at UTEC, where he leads commercial strategy and business growth across the region’s offshore energy sector. He is responsible for developing strategic client relationships, expanding regional partnerships and delivering integrated surface to seabed data acquisition and survey solutions that support complex offshore projects. Before moving into business development, George built his career in geospatial consultancy, working across surveying, mapping and spatial data management. This technical foundation enables him to bridge commercial and operational requirements, helping clients maximise value from geospatial data throughout the project lifecycle. Prior to joining UTEC, George served in the British Army, deploying operationally to Afghanistan, where he developed the leadership, resilience and strategic thinking that continue to underpin his professional approach.
