Gordon McLachlan is a Chartered Geographer and GIS specialist with over 10 years’ experience in geospatial data management, analysis and automation across renewable energy, infrastructure and environmental planning. He currently leads the geospatial team at JERA Nex bp, where he is working to improve the company’s geospatial platform, strengthen data management practices and help teams make better use of location-based information. His work supports planning, consenting, survey, engineering and project delivery through practical GIS tools, clear mapping and well-managed spatial data. Gordon has experience across enterprise GIS, web mapping, spatial databases, data standards and Python automation.
