Biography
Guy is a Technical Consultant / Senior Business Analyst at CACI. He is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has a BSc (Hons) degree in Geography from Coventry University. Guy has worked with geographical information, spatial and non-spatial data in a diverse range of organisations in the private and public sectors. He has worked in logistics, environmental risk, mapping, geospatial solution provision, conveyancing, GIS, meteorology, and multiple information technology projects. Guy leads teams delivering software solutions using agile and lean methodologies. He encourages continual improvement to deliver value to the business. Guy is an active contributor to the international OpenStreetMap (OSM) community. He assists other users to work with the broad set of map features and promotes the map outside of the OSM community. Recent work has been on development of international standards through the Open Geospatial Consortium.
