Biography
James graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Geography and went on to develop a career with WSP where he has progressed from Graduate to Senior Consultant within the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) group. His role centres on conducting data analysis to help manage safety risk and network operations for sections of the English strategic road network with large-scale technology implementations. He now primarily occupies a role in the "Connected Site" team whose objective is to introduce innovative technology solutions into the design and construction of highways upgrade schemes e.g., the use of mixed reality headsets and introduction of sensors on plant machinery to drive productivity and environmental benefits.
