Biography
James is a geography and geology teacher at Reading Blue Coat School, an independent school in Berkshire, having experience also working in the state sector. He is co-author of the ‘Geography’ textbook and exam preparation and practice book for Cambridge IGCSE geography students. He has a demonstrable interest in educational research and has completed an MSc at the University of Oxford in Learning and Teaching, investigating the impact of using GIS on students’ spatial thinking skills. His research has been published in International Research in Geographical and Environmental Education and Teaching Geography. He completed his undergraduate degree at Aberystwyth University. He is a Principal Examiner for Cambridge International Education.
