Biography
Born and raised in Sheffield, S.Yorks. Now reside in East Midlands and work in the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire region. I currently work in the geospatial environment for Ordnance Survey, GB's mapping agency. In my role, I use GIS platforms alongside data capture techniques such as Remote Sensing and GNSS. I'm an Associate member of RICS and am also a proud Fellow Chartered Geography (GIS) member of RGS. Current professional interests include; Open Data and geospatial data in general, QGIS, Remote Sensing, GNSS geospatial data capture, Smart Cities, Internet of Things, Innovation and am always seeking self development. I also want to educate and engage with Inspiring the Future and Esri's' Geo-mentoring' initiatives plus being a Geography ambassador with RGS In my spare time I enjoy; the great outdoors, reading, learning, parenting and travel.
