Biography
James Wardroper has worked in the GIS industry for the past twenty years. He started off in the late 90s setting up a GIS for a firm of Rural Practice Chartered Surveyors which was linked to their Property Terrier. He then went to Nottingham University where he did an MSc in GIS. Following his MSc he began working for Ordnance Survey, initially in Research and then as a GI Consultant. Whilst working for Ordnance Survey he has worked with all the main large landowners in Great Britain and with major Whitehall Departments. Following the terrorist events in July 2005 he also was involved in emergency planning and ran a joint course with the Cabinet Office at the Emergency Planning College. Prior to his MSc he studied Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College.
