Jamie has loved Geography and, more specifically maps, ever since his teenage years. As an eleven-year-old, he first learned how to map read as an Army Cadet and wished to learn how they were made. When he joined the British Army, he trained to provide Geospatial-Intelligence and Products with the UK Armed Forces, Allies and Civilian Agencies; both at home and overseas. Since leaving the military, he has been working in the Waste industry applying his knowledge in spatial analysis to provide insight to be used in strategy planning, commercial growth projects and public sector contract route design. Jamie believes the power of GIS can add value in any sector.
