A marine geospatial analyst with 28 years practical experience with UK Government specialising in physical oceanography, meteorology and hydrography I have focused on the collection and analysis of data to support understanding of the maritime domain for planning and decision making. A practical maritime analyst, I have operated in complex global locations, analysing the environment to understand local geography through a fused multi domain systems approach developing innovative approaches to data collection, sensor design, analysis and understanding. I am now focussing my career on understanding the complex coastal environments through fused sensor and data analysis to develop innovative instrumentation and data systems to support coastal economic development in small remote coastal communities.
