Biography
John Rutter is a former secondary Headteacher and has held a number of senior management posts in schools across Scotland. Previously he worked as an international development scientist for the UK government in Uganda, Tanzania, Costa Rica and India before working in tourism and leading tours across Central and South America. He is also a former journalist. John has a special interest in improving access to outdoor learning for schools and is a keen advocate of learning for sustainability. He is the author of a number of textbooks and online educational articles and continues to contribute to the development of resources for geography teachers.
