Biography
Having been a Deputy Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form from 2008-2019, I have worked part-time since 2020, having stepped down from Senior Leadership to spend more time with family. I have done various things, including the following at CRGS: Acting Head of Geography - 2020-2025; Senior Tutor - 2021-25; Careers Lead - 2023-26; Acting Head of Economics - Spring Term 2022. I've taught and continue to teach Eduqas A Level Geography, AQA Extended Project (where I am also Deputy Co-ordinator) and a Critical Thinking enrichment class. I also support students applying to overseas universities and for teacher training courses. I've also achieved FCCT and worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester, contributing to the Secondary Geography and Primary Education programmes and the ITT interviews team as well as marking PGCE essays and running sessions for NQTs. I’ve also managed to spend more time outdoors enjoying nature!
