Biography
Jonathan is the Managing Director of an environmental consultancy specialising in flood risk management and blue-green infrastructure. Prior to this role, Jonathan spent 13 years working for the Environment Agency in flood risk management. During that time he developed expertise in flood hydrology and hydraulic modelling and led a number of flood alleviation projects, including the River Soar Flood Risk Management Scheme. This scheme included the creation of a new park in Leicester to reduce the risk of flooding to over 2000 homes and businesses. Jonathan has also designed a number of river restoration and environmental improvement schemes and currently advises Local Authorities on flood risk management issues.
