Biography
Lyndon is an Associate Consultant and Chartered Geographer and Fellow with the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) with the Institute of British Geographers (IBG). He specialises in applied fluvial geomorphology and river management, with over nineteen years’ experience in engineering and environmental consultancy. Lyndon has a BSc (Hons.) in Geography and an MSc in Geographical Information Science (GIS) from the University of Nottingham. He has actively contributed to a wide range of environmental and engineering projects and is an active member of AtkinsRéalis’ Sustainable River Management (SRM) Technical Authority. Lyndon has a wealth of experience in project management, fluvial geomorphology, river restoration/realignment design, water framework directive (WFD) impact assessments and mitigation design, barrier removals, sediment transport analysis and habitat enhancements work. He has worked alongside contractors through site supervision roles and post-project appraisals.
