Biography
Mark is a dyed-in-the-wool geographer. He joined Ordnance Survey in 2000 where he has worked in a wide range of positions, mainly gravitating around ‘product’ roles, where he gets to live and breathe geographic perspectives every day. He currently leads the Market Enablement team, helping communicate the content and value of OS's products and services in a meaningful way to constituencies who may not be engrossed in geography but just want to solve a problem or answer a question. In former lives he has worked in engineering consultancy and spent three years curating the mapping of Bermuda (well, someone had to). Mark is a Chartered Geographer assessor and a director of the Association for Geographic Information.
