Biography

Please provide a professional profile (up to 120 words) suitable for the online searchable directory should you become elected as a Chartered Geographer: Geospatial Data Analyst/Engineer who has been working with geo data for close to 20 years in both the public and private sector in the UK. My passion lies in creating workflows that take spatial data from various sources and creating useful new datasets from that. I’m a big advocate of the the use of open source software and the advantages it has in terms of accessibility and inclusion. I’ve been part of the UK chapter of OSGEO (as Treasurer) for some time now and help organise events across the UK promoting the use of OS software.
