Biography
With over 20 years in transport planning and project delivery within the residential, infrastructure and energy sectors, Neil is an experienced Chartered Geogrpaher, Transport Planner, Project Manager, and DCO co-ordinator. Here, he has developed a passion for delivering environmentally sustainable solutions, with a full understanding of the importance of being able to communicate outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences. Many of these skill sets have been directly applied in support of a range of wind-farm and carbon-zero focused type projects, alongside project consenting and determination activities. He is keen to promote the benefits of taking a multi-disciplinary and inter-organisational approach to project delivery, leading on transport advisory work streams with a full understanding of being able to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences. His growing interest in the delivery of large infrastructure schemes provides him with the opportunity to apply his human, physical, and environmental geographic knowledge to a range of project types. His wide ranging experience across different disciplines, roles, and project types provides him with a flexible and pragmatic approach, combined with a personable nature and analytical outlook.
