Biography
Nick Ferguson, Founder – GEO CEO – is an MBA and geospatial professional with 13 years’ international experience working at the intersection of geospatial and energy. Nick runs a consultancy business, GEO CEO, advising tech companies, utilities and investors. Nick is host of The Utility Vegetation Management podcast, which aims to tackle key issues related to contact between vegetation and electrified lines, such as wildfires and blackouts. Nick has previously held various senior roles including SVP at Trimble, a NASDAQ-listed corporation where he led the introduction of technology-driven programs for electric utilities. Nick was VP Strategy and BD at Enview, a venture-capital backed software start-up that focusses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to unstructured 3D point cloud data.
