Mr Nicholas Melson CGeog (Teacher)

Biography

Nick Melson is a Regional Vice Principal at Outwood Grange Academies Trust. He is an experienced school leader and geography teacher, with particular interests in school improvement, achievement, curriculum, and geography education. He has a Bsc in GIS from Kingston University, an MA in Geography Education from UCL, and an NPQH from the Ambition Institute. He has worked at numerous secondary schools, in a variety of leadership roles, including Principal, Vice Principal, & Head of Geography. Prior to becoming a teacher, Nick advised energy clients in the City of London, as well as working in crisis management and communications for an overseas security company. Nick also served as an Army Officer in The Queen's Royal Lancers in the British Army.
