Biography

Working for Thames Valley Police for over twelve years he has both identified and specialised into the role of GIS lead for both his Department and ultimately the force as a whole. He coordinates and oversees the effective operational and strategic business use and development of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), to improve service delivery, maximise policing and analytical opportunities and activities, share good practice and realise return on investment from all map based products and systems. He has designed numerous bespoke training packages for staff and has delivered over 300 days of training. Knowledgeable in the use of both desktop and cloud solutions he administers the Corporate Mapping Solution as well as desktop installs.
