Biography
Paul is a Technical Director within the WSP ITS business. He specialises in projects associated with network performance including tunnels and motorway improvement schemes. He has extensive experience in delivering various aspects of highways schemes but has particular interest in the operation and safety of schemes. Paul is the ITS lead for the Transport Network Operations capability with particular focus on the development and assessment of operational models/concepts. He uses his experience to assess the operational impact of a scheme and find innovative solutions to address operating or safety issues. It has been necessary for Paul to develop new thinking and identify opportunities where alternative solutions and operating concepts should be considered in order to address a network performance problem.
