Biography
Peter is a specialist in geomorphology, dredging issues and environmental impact assessment of the marine physical environment. He has 39 years of experience working in the fluvial, estuarine and coastal environments, particularly with respect to understanding physical processes, geomorphological interpretation, dredging, environmental assessment and management. He has extensive experience in the use of field and historic data, interpretation of numerical and physical modelling results for technical and environmental evaluation of marine developments. Peter is also a specialist in the specification of dredge campaigns for port operations and future development whilst satisfying environmental requirements of the Birds and Habitats Directives. This experience includes the licensing, dredge management, mitigation and monitoring plans as well as practical evaluation of beneficial use options.
