Biography
I am a geography educator with more than two decades of classroom experience across the UK, France and Switzerland. I began my career at New Mills School in Derbyshire, led the geography department at the International School of Toulouse, and have taught at the International School of Geneva since 2009, where my teaching spans IB Diploma Programme Geography, Environmental Systems and Societies, and Theory of Knowledge. A former A-level and IB Geography examiner, I support the professional development of geography teachers worldwide: I have led more than 35 IB Geography workshops since 2009 for the IBO, InThinking and St Clare's Oxford, and co-founded International Geography Training in 2025. As founder and author of geographyalltheway.com I have provided teaching resources to geography classrooms around the world since 2006, and I have moderated the IB DP Geography online community since 2010.
