Biography
Richard has over 20 years’ experience within the field of geography. He has a BSc in Cartography and Geography, and MSc in Geographic Information Science. He has worked within the survey and mapping industry in both field and office settings throughout Europe, North America, Australia, Middle East and Africa. He has extensive management experience delivering projects and programs to a diverse range of clients. Richard’s passion for improving access to GIS and mapping data has led him to become a Partner and Director within TCarta. His role involves applying satellite remote sensing technology in new and innovative ways, and Richard has managed the successful implementation of research technology into practical applications within marine, land and air quality mapping.
