Biography

Ricky Terrington is a scientific lead for the development of geospatial data for geoscience, and has several years of experience in managing geological and non-geological activities on large multi-disciplinary geoscience projects with industry and research organisations both in the UK and overseas. Ricky has proven technical proficiency in the development and application of 3D geological modelling and geoscience visualisation software to improve the understanding of subsurface conditions for city, regional and national scale projects. He is an innovator of novel technical solutions using geospatial software, particularly in urban environments looking at harnessing geological resources (e.g. ground sourced heat) or mitigating against geological hazards (e.g. tunnelling projects such as the Lower Thames Crossing, Haweswater Aqueduct and CrossRail - Farringdon)
