Biography

As a Geography Teacher at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls, I have over 25 years of experience in delivering engaging and effective geography lessons, outreach activities, and teacher training. I am passionate about supporting geography teachers and educators from different backgrounds and levels of expertise and collaborating with various organisations and institutions involved in applying GIS and geospatial technologies in secondary and high school education. I have developed and delivered a range of CPD sessions on the use of GIS and Gapminder to teachers, trainee teachers, and educators around the UK and beyond. I have also been invited to participate in prestigious programs and projects, such as the Singapore's Outstanding Educator in Residence. My mission is to promote the integration of online GIS into geography curricula, and to inspire students to explore, question, and analyse the world around them.
