Biography

I have worked within the charity ecology sector for over a decade, formerly as a habitats and species surveyor before becoming more involved with the management and collation of ecological and environmental geospatial data. My main interests surround the use of GIS for monitoring species and habitat change, habitat and species suitability modelling and application of remotely sensed data in ecological monitoring. I am an advocate of Citizen Science, particularly the gamification of biological recording, both of which I feel are essential in gathering useful high-quality data.
