Biography
Sagar is a Chartered GIS professional with experience in project management across public and private sectors. He is skilled in analyzing data and developing strategies to streamline and optimize data workflow and generate on-time, quality deliverables and reports. Sagar completed his Master’s in Geo-informatics from the University of Pune (2011) and proceeded to his professional career, assuring success. He has an extensive background in various software packages & development languages. He is involved in sectors such as Rail, Roads, Expressways, and Drainage utility networks and volunteered in many research activities. He is currently engaged in keystone projects in GIS masterplans for the organization, which include data modeling, data enhancement, developing GIS portals, and process automation. His work involves directing complete lifecycle projects and producing process improvements to increase efficiency organization-wide, Design data submission systems to update data effectively, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project teams to create project deliverables, document business processes, and create documentation. He constantly thrives in a demanding environment and can independently manage projects. Effectively interface with individuals at all levels of an organization. Apart from Chartered status, he is also a Certified PMP (PMI), a Geomatics Specialist from the Canadian Institute of Geomatics, and an International member of SSSI. He has presented at two international conferences and likes participating in various such events.
