Biography
After completing a B.Sc in Physical Geography at Aberystwyth University, Samuel combined his joy of geography, maps, and photography, by means of an M.Sc in Remote Sensing & GIS, at the same university. In 2012 he was invited to join the team at Environment Systems Ltd as an Analyst, progressing shortly to Consultant, then Senior Consultant. His role has varied from image processing to technical research, on-site field-work to classifications, and ecosystem services to environmental science. In addition, he has led training and workshops across the UK and its Overseas Territories. Samuel is also an Fellow and Honorary Treasurer to the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc). He lives with his wide in Aberystwyth, spending his spare time playing board games, fencing, and working on his allotment.
