Biography

Constantin holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Iasi, Romania, and an MSc in Geomatics from the University of Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca. As a Principal GIS Consultant at Mott MacDonald, he provides geospatial support and location-based intelligence for major infrastructure and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. His responsibilities include maintaining online GIS systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity, delivering desktop, mobile, and web mapping and analysis services, and producing technical documentation. He also automates workflows, develops models and scripts, and promotes best practices across teams. In addition, Constantin manages a team of GIS specialists, supporting their career development through mentoring and appraisals. He is also a GeoMentor and STEM Ambassador, helping schools integrate GIS into education. He brings extensive UK and international experience, particularly in Spatial Analysis and Remote Sensing.
