Biography

Simon Doyle is a senior technology leader with over 30 years’ experience delivering enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and technology strategy across government, defence, infrastructure, and engineering. As a Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture at AtkinsRéalis, he advises executive leaders on technology investment, governance, cybersecurity, cloud, data, spatial data and systems and AI, helping align IT strategy with business outcomes. Simon has led complex transformation programmes, built high-performing global teams, and specialises in pragmatic, business-focused architecture that balances innovation, risk, and operational resilience. He is recognised for translating complex technical challenges into clear executive decisions and for building trusted relationships across senior leadership teams. Simon holds a BSc in Archaeology, an MSc from University College London, is a Chartered Geographer and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), and is a published author. He was instrumental in establishing the CGeog GIS accreditation and was an assessor for 15 years.
